Maravillas 2.5 acre private, deeded, gated beach sits across Scenic Gulf Drive, the largest private beach in the area. Beach Service is included March through October: 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella set up daily. Beach towels are not included, nearby shops carry options for the stay. VayKLife beach gear delivery is available as an optional add-on for stays of 2 to 21 nights, with items delivered to the door and picked up after checkout.

Walk to Dinner, Drive to Everything Else

Pompano Joes, Captain Daves on the Gulf, and Kenny Ds are all within a 7 to 8 minute walk. CVS, a coffee shop, surf shops, and more restaurants sit within a mile. Destin Commons is 2.5 miles, Silver Sands Premium Outlets 3 miles, and Grand Boulevard Town Center 5 miles. A car is recommended for exploring further, though sidewalks, bike paths, and rideshare are all available. Parking is first come, first served with a permit required, standard passenger vehicles only.

Fall and Winter on the Gulf

The water on this stretch of the Gulf runs its clearest in September and October, and the sunsets carry all the way through to March. From November through February, 1404 welcomes extended stays of 30 nights or longer when the calendar allows, a season several of our returning guests already plan around.
