We stayed on this beautiful property to celebrate my sisters bachelorette party. First, the communication was 10/10. They were accommodating to allow us to check in early which was great! The property was clean and spacious. They even got us a cake as a welcome gift. The backyard is right on the canal where you can see manatees in the early morning. It's about a 2 minute walk to Lido beach and 2-3 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. We couldn't have picked a better spot to spend our vacation at. Thank you so much Matt and Susan. We will be back!

The hosts were so helpful , quick to respond , and friendly. The view was remarkable . The dock was a great view for our manatee friends. The beautiful beach & sunsets are a short walk across the street as is Armand's Circle. The house is ample , well stocked and a good kitchen with plenty of storage room. Will return!

The Banyan Retreat was more than we could have wished for. Spacious and clean the home backs up right on the canal and the views were beautiful. We enjoyed the manatees daily and I think they enjoyed us also! We were able to walk to the pristine beaches and Saint Armand's Circle which provided shopping and many restaurant choices. Prime locations and the hosts were very accommodating.

So much to do. Loved every minute of our stay.

Finest home-away experience ever. Perfect home and property for family with toddlers, would be equally lovely for adult group. Slice of paradise set back from quiet road, just two blocks from beach, two blocks to lively St. Armands Circle, and on a canal where the Manatees came to play near the dock every morning, to thrill of adults and kids alike. House impeccably organized, stocked beyond the norms, and a fun and safe first floor layout, ideally sized and heated pool for the little ones. Managers Matt and Susan were amazingly responsive and helpful with smallest inquiries. Strolling to beach and to town equally pleasant. Lido Beach is one of most beautiful I've ever seen. We will definitely go back for future stays. Easy drive into downtown Sarasota. So much to do. Loved every minute of our stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Banyan Retreat home and can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless—the home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials (and then some). It struck the perfect balance between comfort and style, making it easy to settle in and truly relax. The location was ideal—1 minute walk to Sarasota's stunning Lido beach. 3 minute walk to St. Armand's Circle, great restaurants, and local shops, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. Mornings with coffee on the patio and evenings unwinding after a day in the sun quickly became our favorite routine. What really stood out was the attention to detail. Every space felt intentional and welcoming, from the cozy living areas to the comfortable bedrooms. Communication with the host was seamless, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a smooth, enjoyable stay. If you're looking for a place that feels like a true getaway while still having all the comforts of home, this is it. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Kitchen was fully stocked, great outdoor space in backyard including a great grill. The dock was great for kid fishing. Very spacious common areas. The property manager was great with communication ahead of time and answered questions quickly during our stay. A great location close if both beach and the circle!

Thanks so much for being such fabulous hosts! The house is a dream - perfect, serene location on the canal within walking distance to the beach and St Armand's. The private dock was perfect for yoga. We were pleasantly surprised with how well equipped the property is - plenty of dishes and utensils for cooking and everything else we needed. Comfortable beds great views with the huge wall of windows plenty of seating for our party CLEAN private pool great experience with property managers that were accommodating in every way . Couldn't ask for a better experience. Thanks so much for having us!
